Domain protection
A fake site can copy your badge. It cannot copy your domain.
Ordinary “verified” badges are images. An image can be copied onto a fake site in ten seconds. The Seal badge computes a six-digit code tied to the domain the visitor sees in THEIR address bar, and that code changes every minute.
A forger who copies your badge sends their own victims to seal.lifaio.com — where their domain comes back “unknown”. Copying that badge therefore gains them nothing.
- 1. They type seal.lifaio.com themselves in their address bar. Never a link from the site being checked.
- 2. They enter the domain name they see in THEIR address bar.
- 3. Official domain: a six-digit code appears, the same one your site shows at that moment. Unknown domain, or a different code: they enter nothing.
The seal turns red. Seal knows because the visitor's browser tells it which page is displaying the image — a fake site cannot lie about that. It can, however, STAY SILENT: a site that hides this information gets no red seal.
A red seal accuses; a green one does not exonerate. This is a decision aid, never a guarantee.
Verification needs no account, no app and no payment, and it is unlimited. You protect the domain; they check without owing anything.
US$39 per domain per year, for a company of 1 to 100 people. Larger headcount bands pay more — the full table is public.
Domains already anchored to your file are included while your main subscription is active. Per-domain protection covers additional domains.
In your portal, section “Badges and domains”: your domains, the badge, the snippet to paste, and monitoring of names that resemble yours.
No backup, no antivirus, no intrusion detection, no payroll. It is not a guarantee against fraud, and each institution decides its own procedures. Once an opening is authorized, the key lives in memory for the duration of the operation: this protects against the exfiltration of a snapshot — <b>not</b> against an attacker installed permanently. No mechanism protects against both.
Every fact above comes from a public source — press or public authority — verifiable by anyone at the date shown. No affected organization is named, and none of these sources has any connection with Seal LIFAIO or recommends this service.
