Help — how does it work?
Each use takes two or three steps. This page shows only the ones for the tab you picked. Everything is done with a mouse; the two exceptions are at the end, and they say so.
I am checking someone or something — free, no account
- Ask for their Seal code — at the door, on the phone, at a meeting.
- Type it on the seal.lifaio.com home page.
- You see the company, the role, the address. We keep no trace of your check.
- Open the verification page attached to the message.
- Choose the file you received.
- Its fingerprint is computed in YOUR browser. Authentic, or altered.
- Go to /verifier-media.
- Paste the address where the work is published, or choose the file.
- Seal says who owns the place and whether the work was altered.
- Check the work on /verifier-media: the anchored date appears under the verdict.
- Download that day's .ots file and check it with the official OpenTimestamps client.
- The date holds even if Seal disappears. It proves WHO SEALED FIRST — not who created first.
- A red seal means this site is displaying a seal that is not its own.
- Pay nothing, enter no password, download nothing.
- Close the tab and reach the company through an address you already know.
I am a person
- Your 6-digit code is in “My space”. Read it out to whoever doubts, or show your Seal card.
- Choose your file and tick the declaration.
- Confirm on your phone. It is sealed.
- Click “Verify”. Seal will never assert a place no one has checked.
- In “My space”, open “Seal an email”.
- Say who you are writing to.
- Attach the link you get to your message. The recipient checks it comes from you.
My organization
- Give each one their private link. That is where they read their code.
- Paste it into your site. Below the badge, a living band shows the code, a colour and two words that change every minute — a copy of your seal stays frozen. The guide covers WordPress, Shopify, Wix, Squarespace, Webflow.
- Seal flags any site showing your seal without being yours — and shows a RED seal there.
- Seal each legitimate message, one by one or through your sending system.
- Your customers check every message. A link copied into a mass mailing screams 🚨.
- Give a reference and choose the file. It never leaves your machine.
- Attach the verification link to your message. The payer checks BEFORE paying.
- In the portal, describe the action and choose who must approve.
- Each confirms from their phone. You see the verdict and its proof.
- The person gives part of their code again at different moments.
- It is no longer “the right person at this instant”, it is “the right person throughout”.
For example: time clock (the end of buddy punching), presence on a work site, lone worker, a full shift with surprise checks.
Go to the portal →- Encrypt whenever you like. Reading back requires several people to confirm.
- Choose the file, the title, and who must approve.
- Once approved, it is sealed. Anyone can check it, free.
- The current code is displayed; it changes with every window.
- Show it on screen or let the sound carry it. A replayed recording gives itself away.
- Create a payment link with the amount and the description.
- Your customer pays knowing your identity is verified. You refund in one click.
- On the night, a door station opens on any phone. The ticket's code changes every minute, and Seal holds no buyer's name.
This one needs an IT person
- Your software stops and only resumes once several people have typed their code.
- Neither to seal a work nor to put the seal on your site: those need no code at all.
- Writing is always free; it is READING in quantity that triggers the ceremony.
- Below the threshold no one is disturbed. Above it, nothing leaves without human proof.

Verify someone (free, no account, forever). Ask for their Seal number (16 digits that change every 60 seconds) or scan their QR code, and type it on the home page. You immediately see who is verified, and which proofs were checked. A "not confirmed" result does NOT mean fraudster: the organization may simply not be registered.
Important decision? Use the CHALLENGE: you generate 6 digits, the person enters them in their protected space, and the result appears on YOUR screen — impossible to relay or prepare in advance.
An email with a Seal link? Click it: you'll see WHO sent it and who it was meant for — enter your address to confirm it was really for you.

🏅 Is this website the real one? A subscribed company can display the Seal badge on its site and emails. Click the badge (or its /s/… page): type the domain YOU see in your address bar — official domain → a 6-digit code appears, the same one shown on the genuine site at the same moment; unknown domain or different code → likely a FAKE site, enter nothing there. Free, forever.

🤝 Multi-person authorization: for a sensitive action (data copy, wire transfer, deletion…), the company can require confirmation from several people: each confirms from their protected space (private link + PIN). The count YOU require — everyone, or the quorum you set (3 of 5, say) — reached before the deadline = a sealed authorization anyone can verify via its public link. Below that count, nothing is issued. Example internal grid: simple lookup = nothing; export outside the company = data owner + compliance; major transfer or deletion = + management. The requester never approves.
🔌 Seal Connector: companies that prefer their software to call no external service can install the Seal Connector: their software drops authorization requests into a file folder and reads the answers whenever it wants — the connector is the only piece talking to Seal (outbound calls only, no port to open). Ready-to-run program, no installation, reserved for active subscriptions.
🚨 A RED seal? It says the site displaying it is NOT an official domain of the named organisation. Seal knows because YOUR browser tells it which page is displaying the image — a counterfeit site cannot lie about that. It can, however, STAY SILENT: a site that hides this information gets no red seal. The red seal accuses; green does not clear. Enter nothing on that page: no password, no card, no personal details. And if you reached a verification page by clicking a seal, type seal.lifaio.com yourself in your address bar: a fake site can imitate our page too.
🔭 Domain monitoring (included). For every subscriber, Seal continuously looks for domains resembling theirs: in the public certificate logs, and by testing the common variants itself (hyphen, typo, “1” instead of “l”, another extension). What it finds appears IN YOUR PORTAL — never by email: the list, the source of each detection, and a “This is mine” button to dismiss a domain you own. Seal also lists YOUR sub-domains found in your public certificates, so you can declare the ones you use before your seal turns red on them.
