A code proves an instant. A sequence proves a presence.
The sequential challenge requires a code at EACH designated time window — and a future window's code does not exist yet when the earlier part is given. Impossible to capture in advance, share or relay: not by prohibition, by construction. No biometrics, no geolocation, no content surveillance.
⏱️ Sequential challenge — 2 to 5 parts, one per window: the person was there, over time.
⚡ Short windows — 10 to 60 seconds per part: tight presence (time clock, critical post).
🕐 Presence session — a full shift with checks at SECRET moments: you cannot slip away unnoticed.
⛓️ Challenge chain — every handover (evidence, parcel, valuables) is a link sealed by a cumulative fingerprint: insert or remove one and the chain breaks.
👁 Continuity witness — a counter of interruptions, never a tracker: we know THAT there was a gap, never what the person was doing.
Lone workers (Quebec CNESST, French DATI/PTI), guard tours and fire watch, working-time compliance, inspections proven on site, home care without GPS, sensitive operations under dual human codes, chains of custody. Where the law already demands proof, Seal is the only one that proves without surveilling.
