We operate three surfaces, and they do not behave the same way: the public website lifaio.com, the public verifier seal.lifaio.com, and the LIFAIO application. This page treats them separately rather than giving an average that would be wrong for all three.
A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to keep. We treat equivalent mechanisms (local and session storage) the same way, because the law looks at what is stored on your device, not at the name of the technique.

On the public verifier there is no tracking cookie, no audience measurement, no advertising, no external font and no third-party resource: your IP address is sent to nobody when you verify a code. A signed-in subscriber carries one strictly necessary session cookie; a visitor who verifies carries none. No history of who verified whom, where or when is created.
The application stores on your device what it needs to work offline and keep you signed in: your session, your language, your modules and the content of pages already opened. No audience-measurement or advertising cookie. Notifications, where you enable them, rely on a browser subscription and can be switched off at any time.
On lifaio.com, reopen the banner from the footer link and change your selection. In any browser you can delete existing cookies and refuse future ones from the settings. Deleting the cookie that records your choice will simply cause the question to be asked again.
Where a cookie processes personal data, you keep the rights described in our privacy policy: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. Write to privacy@lifaio.com, use our Trust Center, or contact the representative for your jurisdiction.
Any change to the cookies we use is written here before it takes effect. Adding a cookie that is not strictly necessary resets consent: you are asked again, never assumed to have agreed.
